Why we built it
Website monitoring has a habit of looking like a cockpit: dozens of settings, charts nobody reads and alerts that cry wolf. We wanted the opposite. Add your address, turn on alerts and get on with your day.
So Site Patrol speaks plain English. When something breaks we tell you what, when and why, in words anyone can act on. When it's fixed we tell you that too.
How our checks work
- We visit your website from Cloudflare's worldwide network, every minute on Pro and every 5 minutes on Free.
- Something only counts as down after two failed checks in a row, so a single blip never wakes you at 3am.
- We look at more than whether it answers: the words on the page, how long it takes, its security certificate and its domain renewal date.
- When it's back, we tell you how long it was down.
